Description

The Status widget provides an overview of a host, a cluster or a check.
It will contain:

Les widgets statuts propose une vue synthétique d'un hôte, cluster ou check.
il contient:

  • Le nom de l'élément
  • Le Statut et son Contexte (voir Monitoring logic pour plus de détails)
  • Les Notifications envoyées (si un élément passe en WARNING ou en CRITICAL)
    • Les notifications peuvent être configurées dans l'UI d'administration de Shinken Enterprise (voir Notifications et Notifications Way )
    • Si une notification a été envoyée pour cet élément, une enveloppe apparaîtra avec le nombre de notifications
  • The name of the element
  • The Status and its Context (see Monitoring logic for more details)
  • Notifications sent (in case an element becomes WARNING or CRITICAL)
    • Notifications can be configured in Shinken Administration UI (see Notifications and Notifications Way chapters)
    • If some notification has been sent for this element, an envelope will be displayed with the number of notifications on the right .

 

 

  • Only for hosts, it displays also the number of checks, sorted per status.Seulement pour les hôtes, il fait également apparaître le nombre de checks triés par statuts

Usage

If the status refers to an element, a click on the widget will open the Detailed View Panel providing details on the element (see the Host Detail View chapter).

  • For a host, clicking on one of the checks summary box, will directly open the Detail panel on the tab checks panel.
  • The list of checks will be filtered to only display checks matching this status.
  • To get the full list of checks, simply remove the filter ( See Checks Tab chapter).

Configuration

Utilisation

Si le statut se rapporte à un élément, clicker sur le widget ouvrira la vue détail proposant des informations sur l'élément sélectionné (voir le chapitre Host Detail View ).

  • Pour un hôte, clicker sur le total de checks ouvrira le panneau de détail 
  • La liste des checks sera filtrée pour ne présenter que ceux qui correspondent aux critères du statut .
  • Pour accéder à toute la liste des checks, enlever le filtre ( voir le chapitre Checks Tab ).

Configuration

  1. Sélectionner un hôte ou un nom de cluster dans la liste.
    • Le nombre total d'hôtes et de clusters apparaîtra près de "Sélectionner Hôte
    Select a host or cluster name in the first list.
    • The total number of hosts and clusters will be displayed near "Select Host/Cluster" (1).
    • If no host selected yet, the list of available hosts will automatically opened.
    • You can search (filter) for a host name, typing into the input on top of the list (3).
      • Youcan clean the current selection by clicking on the swipe icon (2).
    • si aucun n'est déjà sélectionné, la liste de tous les hôtes disponibles apparaîtra automatiquement
    • Vous pouvez faire un filtre sur un nom ou un type en saisisant directement dans la liste (3).
    • Vous pouvez nettoyer la sélection en clickant sur le balai (2).

  2. une fois l'élément choisi, si vous souhaitez superviser un check précis, choisissez le dans la liste proposée.

  3. une fois défini, appuyez sur le bouton soumettre Once your element is selected, if you want to monitor a specific check, you just have to select check name inside the second list.
    When configured, press the SUBMIT button.
