Graphite

The database system used to save the metrology data, the metrics, is a Graphite system. The Broker daemon is sending the metrics to the graphite carbon daemon. The access to the data is provided by the Apache server configured by the Shinken Enterprise installation.

How the user can query graph values

As there is no authentification system on the Graphite API, the UI users always query the Web Interface that will query the Graphite API.

If there is more than one Graphite installation?

In the case of a multi Graphite setup (like with realm setups), the Web interface backend will query the valid Graphite server where the requested host is located.
