Defining a Favorite

A bookmark is a link to a hive or a list that has been saved.

 This makes it possible to:

  • To have different hives (e.g. a specific portal for each production pole).
  • To have views of an "All elements" or "Source problem" lists frozen with specific criteria (filters, sorting, pagination, displayed columns, etc...).

You can share bookmarks with other users.

Access to bookmarks

A collapsible panel (on the left) is available on the whole application..

It allows you to show or hide the bookmarks management interface.

This interface consists of several foldable sections:

  1. The "Everybody" section
    • Available to all users of Shinken Entreprise.
    • All bookmarks are accessible.

  2. The " My Groups" section
    • This section will be displayed if you belong to almost one users group. 
    • Each users of a group will be able to save its bookmarks in a sub-section ( with title is the name of the group ).
    • You can see a sub-section group only if you belong to it.

  3. The "private" section
    • This menu is strictly personal and can in no case be visible or modifiable by any other user..
